Surprise! Taylor Swift Features on Beyoncé's "Bodyguard"

Fans are freaking out after a surprise collaboration between two pop queens was confirmed. Taylor Swift lends her vocals to the track "Bodyguard" on Beyoncé's latest album, Cowboy Carter.

While Swift doesn't get a featured billing on the song, she's listed in the credits on Spotify as providing backing vocals on "Bodyguard." This sent social media into a frenzy just hours after the album's release.

According to a statement from Beyoncé, the album includes "a few surprises" in the form of collaborations with "brilliant artists." Shortly after the release, Line of Best Fit revealed that Taylor Swift is featured as a background vocalist on the track.

There's no confirmation yet on whether this one-off collaboration will extend to a full-fledged song or a live performance. However, fans are already theorizing about a potential musical exchange between the two superstars in the future.

"Bodyguard" marks the latest surprise in what's been an exciting year for both artists. Beyoncé recently released the first installment of her double album Cowboy Carter, which has received critical acclaim. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, is gearing up to release her own project, The Tortured Poets Department.
